Ant worked in a variety of roles in logistics before he founded DriverNet in 2016. He started out on the ground level in deliveries for an SME fleet operator in 1999, before joining one of the UK's leading hauliers as a graduate and running executive passenger services on the F1 GP circuit. His experience was gained across operational and senior roles in transportation, warehousing, site management, compliance and IT systems for clients including BP, Starbucks and M&S.
Emma gained a 1st class degree in Mathematics before joining the IT graduate scheme at CMG, managing IT projects for blue chip clients in the banking sector. In 2004 she joined a start up specialising in mobile and social communications, before co founding an app development company in 2010. Emma went to found her own app business, launching a series of successful apps that reached no 1 in their categories on the App store before joining DriverNet in the summer of 2016.
Gary has over 15 years experience within the smart transport and ICT sectors and has worked with ISP's, Voice providers, ICT resellers, International telco's, Intelligent Transport providers and run his own web development business. Prior to joining DriverNet in March 2019, Gary headed up UK Operations for South African mobility start up Go Metro and is now looking forward to helping DriverNet become a driving force within our Smart Transport sector.
Arturs began his career working for one on the leading banking and payment system providers in Latvia. He then looked for new challenges abroad and moved to England where he obtained a 1st class honours degree in Computer Science at the University of Bradford. Throughout his studies he kept actively working in IT, managing small scale projects, before joining a Manchester based start-up Upside Energy in his final year. Arturs joined the DriverNet team in October 2016.
Sam graduated from University of Manchester in summer 2016 with a degree in Computer Science. He joined DriverNet in early 2017 as part of a Graduate placement scheme ran by the local chambers of commerce designed to connect recent graduates with businesses in St Helens for six months. He can program in several different languages and since joining the team has vastly increased his business skills and knowledge of the logistics sector. Outside of work, Sam is a keen gamer and enjoys walking his dogs.
Josh graduated in 2014 after studying music technology & creative computing and then started working as a web designer in London. He then moved to Manchester and joined the software team of a large infrastructure support provider as an android developer. When he isn't writing code, Josh is writing music or building electronics for his personal tech projects as well as VR gaming. Josh joined the DriverNet team in January 2018.
Mica graduated from the Manchester Metropolitan University in July 2018 with a 1st Class Honours in International Business Management, going on to a volunteering role in Kenya for Oxfam, building on her earlier volunteer positions in Thailanwhere she taught English as a foreign language. On returning to the UK Mica joined DriverNet in February 2019 and outside of work can be found training and competing horses or has her nose stuck in 3-4 books at any given time.
David joined DriverNet after working as both an iOS and android developer for software development companies in the North West of England before going on to found his own app development and design agency. During this time David worked on projects with other UK start ups in the mobility and gaming space and has also developed his own apps for solutions to to reduce the length of stays on hospital wards for the NHS, inspired by his partner who works as a nurse.
