During the COVID-19 pandemic we have worked with a lot of businesses, helping them launch our technology to coordinate their front line responses more efficiently. DriverNet has worked with St Helen’s Council to coordinate security patrols, the delivery of school dinners and prescriptions, and has also helped Age UK, food redistribution companies and not for profits to deliver emergency food parcels to the vulnerable.
DriverNet not only enables customers to optimise routes, plan, dispatch and track teams and removes the need to key addresses into sat navs, and also offer a wider range of benefits to improve COVID-19 operations:
SMS notifications or voice messages notify customers or their families ahead of every arrival, providing peace of mind and removing any delays faced waiting for customers to attend.
Use GPS locations to fully track, trace and timestamp travel times, arrivals and departures across every journey.
DriverNet securely stores names, addresses and highly sensitive delivery information such as access codes to the houses of the vulnerable. It allows users to access confidential information only at the point of delivery or arrival.
Dispatch staff via their own smartphones, and capture their start and finish times through our app, removing the need for teams to sign at transport desks or be handed paper print outs and return them at the end of the day.
We are now launching DriverNet to coordinate home visits by volunteers and health and social care professionals working in the field or performing tasks for the vulnerable. Our system will enable them to gather crucial data on mental health, physical well being, food or sanitary requirements, or COVID-19 symptoms, and feed this straight back to central teams.
